Last Christmas

Last Christmas isn't just your typical holiday movie. it's also a delightful rom/com that has
heart (literally). It stars Emilia Clarke ( Game of Thrones) as Kate, an aspiring young woman
whose down on her luck, stuck at her dead end job until one day she meets a handsome strange
man (Henry Goulding, Crazy Rich Asians). He gives her advice to become a better person and
ends up changing her life for the better.
While I liked this movie, there was part near the end that teared me up a bit (spoiler: He
was a ghost who died in a biking accident and he donated his heart so she could live on.)
This movie was taken from a Wham song and predominately features George Michael songs.

being so crowded that there was nowhere to sit.

Halloween Memories

Trick or Treating

Image result for trick or treating stock

When I was little, I couldn't wait for Halloween. I used to get dressed up in my
karate costume and go out trick or treating with my parents & school friends. We'd
walk pretty far from home taking turns ringing the doorbell. There were some that'd
    answer and some that wouldn't.

There was one house I was afraid to go up and it was located at the end of my
street. I remember the front lights would flicker and went the door opened, I was
overcome with the strong stench of cigarette smoke.

What I really enjoyed about going out was all different kinds of candy me & my
friends would receive. We would divvy up the candy, making sure we all got the same
    amount.

Now that I'm older, I don't really look forward to since I'm too old to go out and
don't have any kids. As an adult I just stay home and watch scary movies on TV.
I also like eating candy on Halloween.

My 3 Favorite Christmas Movies

My 3 Favorite Christmas Movies

   1). Elf (2003)

        Dir: Jon Favreau
This family comedy stars Will Ferrell as Buddy, a gigantic elf, who travels to New
York in search of his real father (James Caan).

This holiday comedy features the lovable Griswold family planning their perfect
Christmas as unexpected disaster strikes. From the over the top 250 strings of fancy
lights on his house to his absolute obsession with finding the perfect tree, Clark
tries to keep himself sane during the holidays in this raucous comedy.

       Dir: John McTiernan
This action packed movie that made Bruce Willis a household name. He stars
as former cop John McClane, who gets called into duty after a terrorist group
holds hostage a bunch of office workers including his wife.

To celebrate this, I present to you my Thanksgiving music playlist:

1). The Cranberries- Ode to My Family
(not exactly about the holiday just merely reminiscing about one's childhood.)

2). Green Day- Macy's Day Parade
(a somber song from the pop/punk band)

3). Ray Charles- Sweet Potato Pie
(the famous singer sings about a side dish)

4). Adam Sandler- The Thanksgiving Song
(a favorite of mine and the funniest of the list)
