Childhood TV Shows

                                                                        G.I. Joe

Everyday, when I'd come home from school, I'd turn on the TV and watch cartoons all day.
My favorites were: GI JOE, Thundercats, MASK, Transformers, He-Man: MotU &
  Voltron: Defender of the Universe.
On Saturday mornings, I used to love watch Pee Wee's Playhouse on CBS then
 baseball would start.
My favorite live action shows were mostly on Nickelodeon. They were:
You Can't Do that on Television, Mr Wizard's World & Double Dare.
My brother used to tape WWF Saturday Night's Main Event for me as a kid
because it aired well after my bedtime. I couldn't wait to see who won.
My favorite educational shows on PBS were "Reading Rainbow" & "Square One
TV". It taught me that reading is important and helped me learn my math.
As I grew up as a teen in the 90's, my taste in shows changed as well. I began watching
less kiddie shows and more mature fare. I used to watch:
Dead at 21, MacGuyver, Cops & Married with Children.
The cartoons I used to watch were: Ren & stimpy, X-Men (Sat. morning), Rocko's
Modern Life, Beavis & Butthead, Dexter's Lab & Johnny Bravo.

TV Shows that I Can't Stand

In the world of tv, there's a mixture of good tv and utter filth. I made a list of shows
I absolutely cannot stand.

  1. TMZ Live- I hate the tabloid nature of the program. They lack credibility in the
arena of journalism, providing nothing but yellow journalism. It is nothing but filler.

 2. Any procedural shows on the major networks

 3. The Bachelor- Totally fake to the point of "scripted". The producers edit the footage
to make it look like there's drama between the suitors. Most of the those people that
appear are just aspiring actors/ models.

 4. The Talk- CBS answer to "The View". This show has 5 ladies who gossip among
each other and put men down when possible. Their host, Julie Chen is phony as
  she reads from a teleprompter.

Picture Scavenger Hunt

1. Favorite Celebrity: Katy Perry
I think she is a good singer and a very beautiful woman. I have most of her albums
on CD. My two favorite songs are "Hummingbird Heartbeat" & "Wide Awake"
She was born October 25, 1984 in Santa Barbara, CA.

2. Are you a dog or cat person ? I am more of a dog person because I've had them all my
life and they are fun to play with. They love it when you pet them and scratch behind
their ears. The dog picture below is called a scoodle (scottish terrier/ poodle mix).

3. Your favorite website: imdb.com. I like this website so you

can look up your favorite movie and read about different trivia.
I like the news section because it keeps me informed of all the
upcoming movies that are coming out.
I also like the reddit.com forums because you can talk about
pretty much any topic from sports to science to movies and
even your favorite TV show.

A little bit about me

My name is Steven and I am a student in the Life Skills program.
I like to watch movies, read about my favorite teams, hanging out
with my best friend. I also like going out to eat, going out on field trips
with my class and watching videos on Youtube.
My favorite food is pizza (Rocco's or Costco kind).
My favorite color is purple.
Three words to describe me are kind, smart and helpful.
